PU refers to polyurethane foam, which is a kind of high molecular compound containing repeated carbamate chain. It is one of the most important sub items in polyurethane category. Generally speaking, PU is rigid polyurethane in building insulation. Rigid polyurethane foam is the best insulation material in the world. The heat insulation performance of PU with 30mm thickness is equivalent to that of 80mm thick eps foam.

The compressive strength of polyurethane insulation is more than 150kPa, and its maximum temperature resistance is 120 ℃. PU insulation is flame retardant, fire grade reaches B2, its bonding strength > 0.15Mpa. Polyurethane rigid form is a good waterproof, and environmental protection insulation material.
