Clean room panel is a composite board made of color steel sheet or stainless-steel sheet as surface materials, rock wool, glass wool, paper honeycomb, glass magnesium board or other core insulation materials as core materials. It is specially used for partition walls and ceilings in clean rooms and dust-free workshops. Its unique characteristics of dust prevention, antibacterial, corrosion resistance, rust prevention and anti-static make clean room sandwich panel widely used in medical, electronic, food biological pharmacy, aerospace, precision instruments and other scientific research clean room projects with high requirements for the clean environment. Due to its special use, the requirements of clean room panels are stricter than those of ordinary composite color steel panels.
The clean room sandwich panel is classified into handmade type and machine-made type. according to the manufacturing process, according to the difference of intermediate core insulated materials, it can be:
1. Rock wool sandwich panel
It is a panel with strong fire prevention effect, its four sides can be blocked and reinforced in the middle of the core to make the panel surface more flat and higher strength. It has beautiful surface, sound insulation, thermal insulation and seismic resistance, its fire protection performance complies with national standards.
2. Paper honeycomb sandwich panel
The paper honeycomb is made of flame-retardant paper, and metal skin can be made of color steel plate or stainless-steel plate. Its flame retardancy is Class B1 (only carbonized but not combusted), with high rigidity, high strength, strong bearing capacity, good thermal insulation and sound insulation effect, strong flame retardancy, and no toxic ingredients. Paper honeycomb sandwich panel is a real green environmental protection product, with 100% waste recycling. The product has been inspected by the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Fireproof Building Materials to meet the requirements of fire-retardant materials according to GB8624-2012. This product has the advantages of good flame retardancy, anti-static, dust-free, and good overall rigidity which does not produce toxic substances in case of fire. Its waste can be completely recycled and reused. It is a replacement product of polystyrene sandwich panel, polyurethane sandwich panel and rock wool sandwich panel.
Magnesium oxide sandwich panel is a new incombustible decorative material, which is made of magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride, and water ternary system. It is a magnesium based cementitious material with stable performance. 5. Aluminum honeycomb sandwich panel
The core materials of aluminum honeycomb handmade panel is one layer of inorganic materials magnesium board, aluminum honeycomb in between, then another layer of glass magnesium board. The two sides of metal skin can be color coated plate, galvanized sheet or stainless-steel sheet. Honeycomb panel is a pure aluminum product, which does not volatilize any gas harmful to human body, has no radioactivity and can be completely recycled. It is a 100% environment-friendly product. Its fire protection rating is Grade A with a good surface, sound insulation, thermal insulation and seismic resistance. The fire protection performance meets the national standards.
6. Antistatic sandwich panel and anti-bacterial sandwich panel
With the development of science and technology, the requirements for anti-static, antibacterial and dust-proof in the field of clean engineering are getting higher and higher. Sparks caused by static electricity are prone to fire and explosion, and will affect the normal operation of electronic equipment. The pollution of the environment produces more bacteria, and some antibiotics (such as Staphylococcus aureus) have been ineffective to inhibit. Pathogen infection threatens the lives of people with weak resistance. The anti-static sandwich panel uses special conductive pigment added to the color plate coating to make the color plate surface have a resistance of 10-100 ohms, through which static electricity can be released to prevent dust adhesion and easy to remove. At the same time, the plate has the advantages of drug resistance, wear resistance, pollution resistance, etc. The special enamel antibacterial agent is used in the color plate coating of the antibacterial clean panel, which has non-toxic, semi-permanent antibacterial effect and far infrared radiation effect.
The difference between the handmade panel and the machine-made panel is that handmade panel has profile frames around the four side and machine-made panel only has steel strips on both sides, which obviously the strength of the manual panel is higher than that of the machine-made panel, but its dead weight is also higher than that of the machine-made panel.
Thickness of handmade and machine-made sandwich panel is both: 50mm, 75mm, 100mm; and width for machine-made sandwich panel is fixed on 950mm and 1150mm, but thickness of handmade panel can be from 200-1180mm, its width can be customized as project need.
Protective measures shall be taken when the sandwich panel leaves the factory, there is a layer of film on surface of the panel to prevent its damage from surface scratch during transportation. The sandwich panels shall be stored in a dry, clean, flat and solid project site. The stacking height of the sandwich panel shall not exceed 2m on site and it is prohibited to hit or step on the pedal surface.
