The sandwich materials are mostly polystyrene foam, etc. Although this panel has certain thermal insulation, sound insulation and basic dust-proof properties, it has obvious shortcomings in fire prevention, moisture-proof, antibacterial and other aspects.

The polystyrene foam sandwich panel has poor fireproof performance and is easy to burn in case of open fire, releasing toxic gas, which is a major hidden danger in the clean room environment with high safety requirements.

In the 1980s and 1990s, with the further improvement, inorganic fiber materials such as rock wool and glass wool have gradually become popular due to their excellent fire resistance and thermal insulation properties.

At the same time, the metal sheets emerge with better corrosion resistance and surface treatment properties, such as galvanized steel plates, painted steel plates, etc.

These improvements have significantly improved the performance of modular clean room panels in terms of fire prevention, insulation, corrosion resistance, etc., which can better meet the requirements of industries such as electronics and pharmaceuticals for clean room environments.
